What does a repair visit cost?

We charge repair / breakdown related visits on a time and materials basis, consisting of a call out fee, time spent on site i.e. labour (charged in 15 minute blocks) and costs associated with used materials.Contact us to understand exactly what these look like for you and your situation.

Do you do repair commercials systems too?

Accepted Answer

We sure do! We don’t differentiate between where the system is installed, so if it’s in your house or at your workplace we can help get it back to where it needs to be.

Question 3

What happens if you need to come back?

Accepted Answer

If we need to return to continue the job, e.g. we need to source a specific part,  we'll close off the visit, taking payment for all charges incurred to date and advise next steps. Depending on the nature of the return and the associated works, we may quote you either a fixed price or an estimate. Both options include labour/effort and materials charges and if you are a residential customer located within our Zone 1 area then there is no return call out.  For such customers outside of this zone, there will be a small return fee applicable, which we will specifically call out when advising of associated charges.

Do you offer same-day or after hours emergency repairs?

Yes. For urgent heating or hot water related issues, call us and we’ll do our best to help the same day. If we're closed, ring through to our after hours line and leave a message as we offer 24/7 emergency support for critical breakdowns, subject to job type and location.

Is there a warranty on the repair?

Accepted Answer

Repairs are tricky and fixing something doesn't always mean it wont happen again, though we'll never walk away from a problem and are always here to help. Replacement parts fitted come with  their own manufacturer's warranty and we cover defects associated with our works,  for either 6 six years post completion where a compliance certificate was issued (i.e. for larger scale works) or 30 days post where one is not.

What happens if you can't fix the problem?

Most times repairs are possible, though there are occasions where they are not, e.g. parts are no longer available or when the cost to repair exceeds that to replace. In any situation, we'll work together to ensure we get the best outcome for you whatever the strategy.

Can you replace my heater if need be?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely, if repair is not an option, then we can provide competitive pricing to replace it with either another gas appliance or upgrade to an electric heat pump.
