Hydronic Heating

Over time, sludge and debris build up in your system’s pipes and radiators, reducing efficiency and causing cold spots. Power flushing uses a specialised pump and chemicals to clean out the system. For hydronic systems, we recommend a flush every 5 years — or sooner if you notice uneven heating.

First, note down exactly what the code says (letters, numbers, flashing lights — all of it). Then, reset your system if safe to do so (like power cycling it at the switch). If the error comes back, call us — the code helps us diagnose the fault faster.

It depends on your system and what’s needed. A standard residential boiler service starts from around $250–$350. For larger commercial systems, we quote based on size and scope. We’re upfront about costs before we start — no surprises.

Signs include cold spots, noisy pipes, slow heating, or dirty water when you bleed a radiator. We can test flow rates and inspect your system during a routine service and recommend whether a flush or upgrade makes sense.

For urgent faults, we aim for same-day or next-day wherever possible. For general servicing, we’ll book a time that suits you.

A standard hydronic radiator and boiler service is typically $275. If your system needs more than a routine service, we’ll inspect it first and confirm what’s actually needed. If you’re calling about a fault, we treat that as a repair: the standard call-out fee is $176, plus labour at $44 per 15 minutes. We’ll always confirm costs upfront.
